Fostering Access to Global English through Informal Digital Learning
From August 11-21, 2024, our ELE team led the “Fostering Access to Global English through Informal Digital Learning” project in Indonesia to enhance English learning in under-resourced areas. We held workshops for:
15 teachers from 10+ aided special schools in Solo
51 teachers from 40+ schools in Solo
50 teachers from 30+ schools in Kendari
Big thanks to Dr. Nur Arifah Drajati (Universitas Sebelas Maret), Dr. Sitti Nurfaidah (Institut Agama Islam Negeri), their teams, and Mr. Roland Leung (Datality Lab Limited) for their amazing support and training.
We’re excited to select and help 40 teachers from these workshops integrate digital learning, benefiting 4,000+ K-12 students in Solo and Kendari in the next two months. This project strengthens our ties with universities, schools, and industry, expanding EdUHK’s reach and making a real-life difference in Indonesia. 🌟📚🌏
